Two Year Blog Anniversary

Happy Friday!! Can you believe that I almost forgot what today is? Today officially marks the day that this platform turns 2 years old aka my two year blog anniversary. I literally blinked and it has become two years of doing all this. And I wanted to dedicate today’s post to you guys. The ones who keep returning to read my lil’ thoughts, however random they are, and the ones who are always supporting me. I see you!

This lil’ baby passion project of mine has transformed into a much bigger piece of my life that I had anticipated. I am able to share and connect with so many influential and inspiring people not only around the United States but sometimes around the world. These connections are the ones I always look forward to after a day at my normal job and/or on the weekend.

This year, I took upon the challenge to publish a blog post every week day and it has been a roller coaster of feelings. Some days I feel so motivated and inspired by what’s around me that I am cranking out post, creating as much content as time allows it. And then there are the days where I know I have to hurry and write something, but I am sitting at my desk with no where to go. It’s been so entertaining to see where my inspiration sometimes stems from at times. It could be from a conversation I hear on the subway, an encounter I had in the elevator or creating new series of things I am loving. While I struggle at times to write, know that every post has 110% of my efforts in it!

Maintaining a blog while working full-time and attending school for the majority of this past year hasn’t been the easiest. This blog has helped keep my grounded and grateful for the life I have. It has been my backbone and support when I was at my lowest points and had no where to write down my thoughts, and it has been my best friend of sorts when I needed to share something. You all are part of that, too.

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU. For coming back and visiting me on here. For leaving all the best comments in the world and for understanding what I am trying to share. This lil’ thoughts with jen community is by far my favorite and THE best in my opinion. Let’s see what we together can accomplish on our trek to year 3!
