As everyone says, “April showers bring May flowers”, right? The past week has been a whirlwind of bipolar weather from being sunny and warm one day to being windy and rainy the next. I wish it was just as simple for us to change how we feel as easily as Mother Nature does haha.
This week passed by so quickly that I didn’t even get a chance to do everything on my to-do lists; everything keeps getting pushed back to the next day and then the day after that. I am the epitome of an awful procrastinator who does everything as last minute as I can possibly get. I am still wishing that I am in a dream right now and it wasn’t Sunday. I need more time!
But today I was able to take some time away from studying for a midterm that I have on Tuesday, to go outside and enjoy the beautiful weather before it gets taken away again. After being inside all day and most of my weekend so far, it was such a treat to just take a walk and enjoy myself.

look at that pretty-ful skyline!!
Alex and I had found this cute little park near our apartment one day while exploring the area and somehow we, or mostly just me, deemed it “our park”. It is so quiet and surrounded with picturesque townhouses. And if you come on certain days to sit in the park, you get to see cute little children being walked home from school while wearing matching outfits! But today Alex and I walked around the park and found a playground and being kids that we are, of course we had to check it out 🙂

weeeee—it was so relaxing to forget our responsibilities for a bit & just have fun!

haha–his face in this picture is priceless
I have to go back to studying for this doomed exam but I hope that wherever you are and whatever the weather is like there, you take some time to go outside to get some fresh air. Coming from someone who can stay cooped up inside for an entire day, I can guarantee that it will improve your mood and give you a fresh boost to whatever you are doing. And if you are somewhere gloomy, I will virtually send you some packages of sunshine!
Until my next lil thought then,
Jen
