You’ve probably seen on social media every girl donning these hair scarves and I am undoubtedly one of them! My new hair scarf obsession has me scouring the pages of every retail store to find the next cutest print. Having black hair, I am always looking to add pops of color. Even if it’s a black scarf like the one in the photo, I can look for ones with patterns to help it stand out. And girls, there are SO MANY options out there! I personally am drawn more to the scrunchie style ones since they are so much easier to put on. But the ones that you have to tie yourself are just as cute!
I think hair accessories coming back into trend is my favorite part of this upcoming spring/summer season. I remember when I was younger, I would sit at the nook of my mom’s legs as she did my hair every morning and I get to pick out all the different barrettes and hair-ties. Whenever I see all these new trends such as barrettes, hair scarves and hats coming back, I think to those time. I return to a time of my life that I thoroughly enjoyed. And I can tell you that I love dressing up my hair in the morning now. My go-to would be a simple out fit like this one and then add a hair scarf to top it off.
This trend is for everyone! I think so many more people are going to be wearing these as the weather starts getting warmer and we get to wear cuter spring/summer clothes. There is a hair scarf style for everyone out there. Plus they are so versatile – you can wear it however you like from a hair-tie style to a head-band. I am for sure going to pick up some more for myself since I can’t help it!
