Happy Friday! Coming at you today with another Friday favorites post because I haven’t done one in a while and there are so many new things that I’ve been trying and loving. I always get in the mood to play more with makeup and my nails during this time of the year so expect lots of beauty during this round.
Welcome to Vol 8 of Friday Favorites:
Lancome Teint Idole Ultra Long Wear Foundation
Price: $47.00
This full coverage has been saving my butt when I need to look extra good on days when my skin is just not cooperating…ladies I think you all get me on this one. Just like its name implies, it is SUPER long-wearing and has a natural matte finish. The velvety matte finish isn’t drying at all so it’s great for any skin types. I wear shade 380 BIS W, but am debating on picking up another one as I get paler.
Lancome Blush Subtil – Delicate Oil-Free Powder Blush
Price: $32.00
Let’s continue along the Lancome route and talk about their blushes! These blushes are AMAZING – the pigmentation and the range of colors is out of this world…plus these are formulated with a moisture-balancing formula which is oil-free and oil-absorbing. I don’t know much about science, but that sounds too good to be true…but it is true! It has a natural finish and lasts so long. I’ve been loving to add pops of color to finish my daily look, and blush has been the way to do it.
Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick
Price: $34.00
If you watched my Instagram stories a couple of days ago, you would have already heard me raving about this lipstick. I’ve heard about the rave for this shade since forever throughout the beauty community. For the longest time I was afraid to try it out because I didn’t know how it would look on Asian complexions and GIRLS, it is WORTH the hype. The shade is so beautiful and works on every skin tone – it’s definitely one of those shades that is wearable every day. Plus something about the formula is so different from every other lipstick – it’s a matte, but not super drying, it’s almost creamy. It’s so comfortable to wear all day and matches everything.
YSL Libre Eau De Parfum
Price: $104.00
If you are thinking to add a new perfume to your collection, I highly recommend this one. I love my floral scents and this one ticks all the boxes and then more. There is something really warm and musky about the scent without being too overpowering, making it perfect for the colder months. And the design of the bottle is STUNNING!
Scentsational Apple Cider Candle
Price: $12.99
Like every other basic girl out there, I am a candle lover once fall hits. BUT I am not a lover of pumpkin smells so any candles with pumpkin spice gets a big NO from me. I do love scents that include apple, cider (together would be nice), cinnamon, vanilla and such. These warm scents just tugs at my heart strings! This one ticks all of the boxes and I am always looking forward to light it – the scent is so warm without being too overpowering. The slight spiciness mixed with the sweet from the apple is so perfect and reminds me of fall.
