This is going to be the first of the “Best Bagels in NYC” posts where I will be sharing all of my favorite bagel spots in the city, one place at a time. Today’s place is Gramercy Bagels…a spot I’ve been loving for 3 years now!
They consider themselves a deli spot, but every time I go, they give me the vibe of a cafe where you can sit and read the paper, a book or meet a friend while enjoying your bagels! There is quite a lot of room for you to sit and relax. They are best known for their hand-rolled, water-boiled bagels, which are unbeatable in consistency and texture. While the outside is like every other bagel, the inside is chewy and airy – making them the perfect bagels in my opinion.
And last but not least, the icing on the cake that makes this place one of the best in NYC is their coffee. They sell La Columbe coffee, which is an amazing coffee, and definitely a step-up compared to the coffee at other bagel shops.
Location: 246 3rd Ave, New York, New York 10010
Price: $ (you can see full-prices on their website)
Recommendation: You HAVE to try their everything egg bagel
A million and one thanks for reading — until my next lil’ thought then!
I know that New York bagels are a thing, but I never know where to find THE ones, ya know? I’ll have to check this one out! // I love La Colombe, especially their draft lattes :3 -Audrey | Brunch at Audrey’s
