

Yesterday I shared that the Flatiron building is one of the most instagrammable places in NYC, but it’s also one of the must visit places in NYC if you’re ever here. Filled with so many restaurants, shops and things to see, if you are looking for things to do in NYC, you must come here! Throughout the week, you get so many different crowds from the working people during the week to families on the weekend. Here are the best of Flatiron:
LOCATION
The Flatiron district spans from 18th to 27th street and from Lexington to 6th Ave. This block may look small on the map, but it is FILLED with beautiful sights and activities.
THINGS TO DO/SEE
- Madison Park : walk through the park, enjoy the fresh air and see what types of people are out for the day
- Flatiron Building : capture your shot of the iconic building that has been a landmark of NYC for years
- Eataly : cruise through the shop to see some Italian classics, get a glass of wine, enjoy some gelato
- Grab a cup of coffee at Stumptown Coffee Roasters : one of the best coffee spots in town
- Museum of Sex : a contemporary museum to say the least on combatting the taboo of speaking about sex – get a glimpse into everything you need to know about sex (you have to be 18+)
- National Museum of Mathematics : a different type of museum to see
- 230 Fifth : an upscale rooftop bar with direct views of the Empire State Building
- Jazz Standard : get your jazz music fix here
- SPiN New York : a ping-pong lounge
- Gramercy Theatre : book a show here – there are so many varieties
- Check out Theodore Roosevelt’s birthplace : East 20th Street
