Can I shout this from the rooftop of the Empire State Building so every one can hear this? I’ve always stressed the importance of how the energy we have around us is crucial to our mental state and health. Whether the positive energy stems from ourselves or the people around us, it’s important to constantly build upon it.
Positive energy can radiate from ourselves. When we are feeling down, unmotivated, lethargic, or unnerving, it can send signals to our brains of how NOT good we are being. It can ruin our moods for days on ends and preventing us from being in the moment. You might be thinking “is it really that serious?” And it is! Success is built upon our mentality and how we can combat any given diversity that comes our way. There are such things such as positive affirmations that can drastically change people’s takes on situations. It stems from the same underlying message that when we are positive towards a situation, we are able to take it on more easily.
Being positive all the time is not always easy and there will definitely be days where you can try your hardest and you still feel down. Or you are super positive and you still fail. The positive mindset is one that needs to be constantly worked on and engaged, regardless of what you are doing. By radiating a positive energy, you will have a better overall experience. Studies have shown that those who are more active in their positive energy are overall better with life decision and feel content with their lives. Learning to be happy with what you have and your current state has a domino effect on the other areas of your life.
Have a positive mindset can also lead to a healthier mental health state. Built up tension of negativity can drastically not only alter our mental health but also our overall body health. There are numerous studies that have shown the direct correlation between having a negative mindset and our bodies deteriorating. So a positive mindset can lead to better overall health.
Take a moment every day and focus on the good in your life to jumpstart those positive thoughts and energy. Radiate that to other people by telling them what they mean to you and how thankful you are that they are in your life. Words of affirmation and gratitude are really helpful in achieving this positive energy in an environment. I really hope this post can motivate you to be more positive today and to spread it to those around you!
A million and one thanks for reading – until my next lil’ thought then!

Positive energy is so important! I am really sensitive to negativity it really drains me. I can down in the dumps sometimes, so I’m still working on trying to put a more positive spin on things.
