OOTD: Palazzo Pants + Red Boots

Hi loves! Coming at you today with another OOTD starting with these amazing red boots and my new love for palazzo pants. I used to never like wearing pants outside of leggings and jeans, but recently, have been loving switching it up. I went from wearing red pants to these palazzo ones that I first thought was a skirt! My dad found these pants on the discount rack (love a clearance!) from Nordstrom and I’ve been loving styling them. I was so happy when they fit perfectly length wise—no hemming needed!

At first, I thought these pants were too out of my comfort zone, I mean, how would I even style these HUGE pants. But I knew I wanted to style them with my latest loves: red boots! Even though on their own, both are harder than normal items to style, I thought that they could go very well together. The wide legs on the pants were able to have a peek-a-boo effect on the boots with every step I took. And I ended up wearing a tighter top to really cinch in the look.

As someone my height, I am always looking to add some extra inches. These boots surely gave them those and more. I love the pointed toe as it further helps elongates my figure. With any outfit, I always make sure that I balance the whole look out — with this one, I tried to wear a tighter top since my bottoms were a bit looser. And since I was adding a pop of color from my shoes, I added less color to my outfit elsewhere.

Also, I am in the market for a new small cross-body black bag since I recently broke my go-to one.
