Indian Restaurants in NYC Review: Bengal Tiger

March 7, 2019

The number of Indian restaurants in NYC is through the roof! My introduction to Indian food was through this amazing place: Bengal Tiger. Alex and I try to come here as much as we can – probably the only Indian place I go on the regular. And after moving to the west side of NYC, the trek there has been so much easier too!

Name of Restaurant: Bengal Tiger

Address: 58 West 56th Street, New York, New York 10019

Overall Rating (out of 5): ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Price Point: 💲💲 – around $15-$20 per person

What we ordered:

Two things that you HAVE to order when you come here: samosa & garlic naan. They are sooo delicious and always come out warm + fresh.

As for my main dish, I always opt for the Chicken Tikka Masala (I know, I know…generic) because it’s sooo creamy and delicious. Alex always gets the Chicken Makhani which to me is more buttery than the Tikki Masala. We’ve also tried the Curry Lamb with my brother which they loved.

Service (out of 5): 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Your water cup will always be automatically filled and your orders will come out super quick. Because of the fast pace environment, sometimes you can feel like the servers are hurrying you.

A million and one thanks for reading – until my next lil’ thought then!

I always get butter chicken + some kind of naan when I eat Indian, and if I’m feeling extra indulgent, I’ll get samosas too :3 -Audrey | Brunch at Audrey’s
