It’s been a while since I shared a friday favorites post with y’all! But I’ve been loving items so much that I had to come on here and share them with you. Today, we have a mix of makeup, clothing and lifestyle so there’s for sure a tidbit for everyone. For each favorite, you can click directly on the photo or title of the item to shop!
1. Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector
This has been a life-changer this week!! I have been looking everywhere for the perfect summer glow without caking makeup/highlighter on and this seriously answered all of my prayers. I mix 1-2 drops of this into my daily morning moisturizer and it provides a very natural glow. You can build the product up by adding more to the highlight areas of your face. All I want is to GLOW!!
2. Sam Edelman Yaro Ankle Strap Sandals
I got these a couple of months ago after loving my other pair sooo much. This style is SUPER easy to dress up or down. They are also incredibly comfortable compared to other heeled sandals. I’ve also seen these sandals come back every summer season so you know this is a worth-it investment!
3. Levi’s 501 Skinny Jeans
These are a new collection to my wardrobe and I AM IN LOVE. I’ve been really loving Levi jeans lately, especially their 501 lines (I think that’s their original line). I actually had another pair of Levi’s that was my go-to…but I actually ripped them recently. Thank goodness I have these to back me up ahahah! Plus they are on sale currently!
4. Sally Hansen Insta-Dry White on Time
I swear my love for white nails always comes to the forefront during the warmer months. Picked this one up recently when I was home and was pleasantly surprised by how pigmented it was! Honestly, if you are in a hurry, one coat is opaque enough for you to go out – plus this line is so quick-drying!
5. Mindset by Carol Dweck
I think if you’ve been around me for the past couple of weeks or so you would be annoyed and how I try to apply this book to every scenario. Alex first read this book and did the same thing..which I got annoyed at ahah, which prompted me to read it. While it’s not the best well-written book, it is a book that contains a lot of great theories about mindset and how we should approach situations in our life. It was actually super eye-opening to see how people actually think and how our mentality can greatly affect our long-term success. And I find it to be applicable to so many areas and people around me! I will definitely do a full-fledged book-review on it once I have gone through my collection of books!
