Happy Mother’s Day to all the mommies in the world right now who deserves every single day of celebration!! No amount of thanks can truly sum up the love and dedication that each mother has put into their babies. Everyday should be celebrating these hard-working people!!
I am fortunate enough to be given the BEST and MOST loving mommy in the entire world. She is one of the most hard-working, dedicated and loving person that I have ever known in my life. She goes above and beyond to make sure that all three of her children are loved, cared for and happy. To this day, I have never seen her put herself first over anything—there is always someone that she needs to think about first, whether that me us kids, my dad or her family. Her vocabulary does not even contain the word “relax” as she is always on the go to do something else.
She is my modern-day wonder woman and my personal superhero.
It’s true what they say that the love a mother has for their children has no boundaries because I think every mother will do anything for their children. I feel so fortunate to have a mom here for me to call 24/7 over random and silly things like how to cook, how to do something random or simply just to hear her voice. Her constant reminders to love life, to laugh more and to continue chasing after my dreams are the reason I am at where I am.
My mom is my inspiration, motivation and aspiration all bundled into one.
I’m super sad that I can’t be there with her right now telling her how much she means to me and to give her the biggest hug ever, but I am leaving that job to my sister and brother haha. And for those of you who are lucky enough to be with your mom right now, give her an extra hug for me as well!
If you are also fortunate enough to have a mother there for you, take the time to phone up your mom whenever you have the chance, and not just today—make it a consistent thing to do. Trust me when I say that no matter what worries you have, your mom will have some magic way of making them disappear (at least in meantime).
Until my next lil thought then,
Jen
